SAT Essay question???
This is the question
We often think that it is better to solve problems on our own than to depend on others. Of course, dependence can be taken to extremes, but interdependence is also part of human nature. The tacit understandings that develop from giving and receiving help are essential to our emotional survival.
ASSIGNMENT: To what extent should one depend on others to help solve his or her own problems? Write an essay in which you answer this question and explain your answer with reasoning and examples from literature, the arts, history, politics, science and technology, current events, or your experience or observation.
This is my Main Topic:
There should be no extents on depending on others for help unless a person is able to solve the problem on their own.

There is a short story called “the Glass of Milk” by Manuel Rojas. It is about a young boy who realizes that he cannot be completely independent. If you can find it on the internet, that would be a good example.
