Art Director?
I just received my BA in advertising and I want to be an art director. What do I do next?
He has the experience to land a position AD … 6yrs + plan on working up. Good advertising makes a general work experience to table advertising, print, video, web, TV, etc.. Find a job (or jobs) and how this experience can offer. Discover what you are really good and refine your skills and decide what area you want to work, advertising, online, TV, film, etc. Find AD you admire (you may or may not work with), ask them to be your mentor. Along the way, you'll need to acquire the following: direct management of employees (assessments, payroll, etc.), plan and manage budgets, schedule projects and deadlines, working with freelancers, promote ideas to senior management and clients, making customer presentations, cost estimates, finishing projects on time and on budget, etc. .. There is also a good idea to promote the path to participate in design competitions, writing articles on topics you are experienced, belong to professional organizations, be active in these organizations. Volunteer your skills to a community service project … be settled Worldwide, the intuitions of everything! Good Luck!
